Terms & Conditions
WC26 Predictor · Last updated 12 June 2026
The short version: the WC26 Predictor is a skill-based prize competition run by Vivo Clothing with North West Elite Academy. Entry was £5 or £10, UK residents 18+ only, entries closed at 19:00 BST on 11 June 2026, and prizes are awarded on final leaderboard positions as set out below. Our decisions on scoring and prizes are final. Be sound, and good luck.
1. The promoter
The WC26 Predictor (the "Competition") is operated by Vivo Clothing (sole trader), 28 Redvers Drive, Liverpool, L9 8BT, United Kingdom ("we", "us"), in partnership with North West Elite Academy ("NWEA"). Contact: info@vivoclothing.co.
The Competition is a prize competition whose outcome depends on the entrant's skill, judgement and knowledge of football. It is not a lottery, and it is not betting or gaming: prizes are determined by the accuracy of each entrant's predictions across the whole tournament, judged against fixed scoring rules published before entry.
This Competition is not sponsored by, endorsed by or associated with FIFA, any national football association, team or player.
2. Eligibility
- Open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over at the time of entry. Age was confirmed at entry.
- Employees and immediate family of the promoter and NWEA may enter on the same terms as everyone else, except as set out below for the operator's own entry.
- The operator's own entry ("the Boss"): the operator competes on the leaderboard like any other entry but can never win cash from the prize pot and is excluded from the Predictor's Pass Raffle draw. See section 6 for how prizes are treated if the Boss places.
- We may request proof of age and identity before awarding any prize and may withhold a prize until reasonable proof is provided.
3. Entry
- Entry cost £5 (Standard Entry) or £10 (Predictor's Pass), paid at the point of entry. Entries closed at 19:00 BST on 11 June 2026 and no further entries are accepted.
- Each entry consists of group-stage predictions, side-bet predictions, and (when opened) knockout-bracket predictions. Predictions are locked and cannot be changed after the entry deadline.
- Multiple entries by the same person were permitted; each entry is scored independently and requires its own Entry ID for knockout predictions.
- Entry fees are non-refundable once predictions lock, except where required by law.
4. Upgrades (Standard → Predictor's Pass)
- Holders of a Standard Entry may upgrade to the Predictor's Pass for £5 during the tournament via the link on our upgrade page.
- An upgrade applies to one existing paid entry (identified by the Entry ID given at checkout), does not change the entry's predictions or points, and takes effect when we process it — normally within 24 hours of payment.
- Upgraded entries receive Predictor's Pass benefits from the time of processing: PP Raffle eligibility, mini-league access, and the Pass-tier discount code only if the entry's Standard discount code has not already been redeemed.
- One upgrade per entry. Upgrade payments are non-refundable once processed.
5. Scoring
- Group stage: 2 points for each team predicted in its correct position in a group's table. Points are provisional and fluctuate with the live tables as results come in; they are determined finally when each group completes.
- Knockouts: 3 points per correctly predicted winner in each round (R32 to semi-finals); 10 points for correctly predicting the tournament winner.
- Side bets: 10 points each for correctly predicting top scorer, top assister, Golden Boy, best young player and top-scoring team. Total tournament goals scores 10 points for an exact match only and acts as the tiebreaker (closest wins on ties). Golden Boy and best young player are settled when officially announced at the end of the tournament.
- Name matching: predictions are matched generously — surnames, missing accents and reasonable spellings of the intended player or team count. Where leaders are tied, a prediction matching any joint leader counts while the tie stands. The promoter's interpretation of an ambiguous prediction is final.
- Match results and standings are entered by the promoter from official tournament results. We may correct scoring errors at any time, and the leaderboard standing at the end of the tournament (after corrections) is the final result.
6. Prizes
The cash prize pot is £500, funded from entry fees and locked at entry close. Prizes are awarded on final leaderboard positions:
- 1st place: 60% of the cash pot, plus a signed, framed Robbie Fowler Liverpool FC shirt.
- 2nd place: winner's choice of ONE of: 25% of the cash pot; OR a pair of HOKA or UGG footwear from the brand's official website up to £150 RRP; OR a 6-month NWEA membership (£204 value).
- 3rd place: winner's choice of ONE of: 10% of the cash pot; OR £50 Vivo Clothing website credit; OR a 3-month NWEA membership (£102 value).
- Predictor's Pass Raffle: Pass entries finishing in the top 75% of Pass entries on the final leaderboard receive one entry into a random draw. The drawn winner receives 5% of the cash pot plus HOKA or UGG footwear up to £150 RRP.
- Beat the Boss Raffle: every entry that outscores the operator's own entry ("Shaun") on the final leaderboard receives one entry into a random draw for a signed Robbie Fowler Liverpool FC football. If no entry outscores the Boss, there are no qualifying entries and the football is retained by the operator.
If the Boss places:
- If the operator's entry finishes 1st, the operator receives the signed Robbie Fowler shirt only; the 1st-place cash share is not awarded to anyone.
- If the operator's entry finishes 2nd or 3rd, that position's prize is not awarded at all — the operator receives nothing for that position and it does not pass to the next-placed entry.
- The operator's entry is excluded from the Predictor's Pass Raffle draw. All other positions and prizes are unaffected and are awarded to the highest-placed eligible entries as normal.
- Where a 2nd or 3rd place winner chooses a non-cash prize, the corresponding cash percentage is not awarded.
- Final leaderboard ties are broken by the total-goals tiebreaker; if entries remain tied, the affected prize (or its cash value) is shared equally between them.
- Footwear prizes must be items not already discounted on the brand's official website at the time of claim. NWEA membership and taster prizes apply to the winner or a child nominated by the winner; if neither is age-appropriate, an alternative of equivalent value will be offered.
- Prizes are non-transferable and, except where a cash option is stated, no cash alternative is offered. Vivo Clothing discount codes are limited to one redemption per entrant and are valid until the expiry date set on the code at vivoclothing.co; NWEA taster session codes are valid until 30 September 2026.
- Winners will be contacted by email (or the contact details given at entry) within 7 days of the final and must respond within 14 days; prizes are dispatched or arranged within 28 days of confirmation. If a winner does not respond within 14 days we may draw or award a replacement.
7. Fair play
- We may void entries we reasonably believe to be fraudulent, made by bots, paid with unauthorised payment methods, or in breach of these terms, and may withhold prizes accordingly.
- If the tournament is materially changed, interrupted or cancelled, we may adjust the scoring and prize structure as fairly as reasonably possible, or in the case of cancellation refund entry fees in full as the exclusive remedy.
- In all matters of scoring, interpretation and prize awards, the promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into, except that nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
8. Publicity and your information
- Profile names, tiers, points and predictions are displayed publicly on the Competition website (leaderboards, player pages and related features). Don't use a profile name you wouldn't want public.
- We may announce winners by profile name on the Competition website and our social channels. Any further publicity is with the winner's consent.
- Personal information is handled as set out in our Privacy Policy.
9. General
- Our liability in connection with the Competition is limited to the value of the prizes; nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
- If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms to correct errors or comply with law; material changes will not reduce prizes already advertised at entry except as set out above.
